Women's Tennis Looks To Extend Streak

Spokane, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team will be looking to extend a two-match win streak as the Zags host West Coast Conference foe Santa Clara University and Lewis-Clark State College this weekend at the Spokane Racquet Club. The Zags enter the weekend with a 6-11 mark and are fresh off back-to-back victories over Weber State University and UC Santa Cruz. Santa Clara travels to Spokane with a 5-10 mark after posting wins over Portland State University and the University of Portland earlier in the week. LCSC will take the short trip to Spokane boasting a 10-9 overall record. Aglaya Kokurina leads the Bulldogs, boasting an 11-6 record, including going 7-4 while playing No. 2 and 4-2 when playing in the top spot. She is currently on a two-match win streak and has won seven of her past 10 singles contests. The Spokane Racquet Club (SRC) is located at 1903 South Dearborn Road on the South Hill.
