Spokane, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team is set to host Eastern Washington University Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Spokane Racquet Club in Spokane, Wash.

The Zags enter the evening looking to improve on their 2-4 overall record, while the Eagles stand at 2-5 for the spring season.

The Bulldogs are looking to put a cease to a two-match losing streak, with both losses coming to a pair of West Coast Conference foes. During a three-match trip to Portland, Ore., the Zags posted a 4-3 victory over Portland State University before falling 7-0 to Saint Mary's College and 5-2 to the University of Portland.

Gonzaga is led by junior Aglaya Kokurina, who has posted a 3-3 record while playing No. 2 singles this season. In her last outing, the native of Tashkent, Uzbekistan posted a straight-set 7-6, 6-3 victory over Lindsey Griffin of Portland.

Last season against the Eagles, the Bulldogs spilt a pair of decisions against. On April 5 in Cheney, the Zags defeated the Eagles in a close 4-3 match before dropping a 5-2 decision to Eastern Washington on April 12 on the Gonzaga campus.

The Spokane Racquet Club (SRC) is located at 1903 South Dearborn Road on the South Hill.
