Spokane, Wash. - During his final home match of his career, senior Cooper Fratt posted a singles victory Sunday as the Gonzaga University men's tennis team fell 5-2 to visiting Lewis-Clark State College. The contest was the final home match for Fratt and fellow senior Charles Adams.

Fratt posted a straight-set 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 3 over Mickael Sopel in singles play for GU (6-16). Adams, playing at No. 4, dropped a 7-5, 6-4 decision to Johnathan Berhane. Roman Dojcak earned the Zags' lone other point at No. 1, as the sophomore earned a three-set 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory over Cedric Dufour. At No. 2, Zack Radetzky fell to Kevin Lee 6-1, 6-3, while Logan Napolsky feel 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 5 to Ali Faris. Rounding out singles action, Mike Merz fell 6-4, 7-6 to Arslan Mermut at No. 6.

In doubles play, LCSC (11-9) earned the point, taking all three contests. Fratt and Adams teamed up at No. 3, falling 8-5 to Sebastian Kuhn and Oliver Stone. Merz and Radetzky fell 8-7 at No. 1 to Dufour and Berhane, while Napolsky and Dojcak fell 8-6 to Lee and Faris at No. 2.

The Bulldogs will resume action Friday when play opens at the West Coast Conference Championship in Santa Clara, Calif.
